The response of the EMCP to a fault will depend
on the set point programming ( OP-5 )

P03 Shutdown override for ENGINE fault

This set point tells the GSC how to respond to a low engine oil pressure or
high coolant temperature fault.
They are not diagnostic faults but engine faults.
The setting are : 0 - for shutdown
1 - for alarm only

P04 Shutdown override for SENSOR fault

The diagnostic faults are : Oil pressure sensor
Coolant temp sensor
Coolant loss sensor
Sensor power supply
They are diagnostic faults (bad sensor, wiring)not engine faults.
The setting are : 0 - for shutdown
1 - for alarm only

This is a common fault when you have a
3500B using a load sharing module and the
engine is not running (there is no power to the
LSM therefore there is no PWM output to the ECM)
