Foraparticularprocessaverage,theAOQistheaveragequalityofoutgoingproductincludingall

effectively100%inspectedandalldefectivesreplacedbynondefectives.

ClassificationofDefects
Aclassificationofdefectsistheenumerationofpossibledefectsoftheunitofproductclassified
accordingtotheirseriousness.

Lotorbatch
Thetermlotorbatchshallmean"inspectionlot"or"Inspectionbatch".Thelotorbatchsizeisthe
numberofunitsofproductinalotorbatch.

Theprocessaverageistheaveragepercentdefectiveoraveragenumberofdefectsperhundred
