Guided Study Hall Student Expectations

All students in this study hall MUST remain for a minimum of 6 weeks. If progress is met
(see below) they will have the option to move to a closed study hall.

1. No student will be allowed to leave study hall class without a prearranged pass with a
teacher (except for Math or Writing tutoring in the MC)

2. Permanent passes will not be allowed (unless approved by an administrator).

3. Electronic devices and headphones are only allowed for academic purposes with
teacher permission
4. Use the time to work on homework, collaborate on classwork, read, seek out tutoring
help, improve study skills

5. Work to earn passing grades in all classes

Students Can be moved from Guided Study Hall if:

Expectations above are met

For a student to be considered for moving into a Closed Study Hall, the student must:

Have passing grades in all classes (grades will be checked every 2 weeks with
instructors)

Has demonstrated the independent skills (organization, on-task behaviors,

academics) necessary for academic success as evidenced by data gathered from
interventions, which indicates that the student can continue to make progress with
less support

Final approval will be determined by I-Team
