Morality

The church promotes the false concept that people need religion because without it, chaos
would ensue. This is not true. Much of the current chaos, conflicts and negativity in the
world is directly due to religious beliefs.

Current societies run the risk of bombing themselves into oblivion - suicide bombers
indiscriminately kill and maim for life children, women, defenseless people of all religious
faiths. Thousands have been murdered for religious beliefs and false gains, don’t believe
this, remember 9/11? Tomorrow, someone will die in Iraq or Afghanistan and it does matter
regardless of what side they are on, it does matter regardless of what they believe, it does
matter regardless of whether they are a soldier or a civilian, all life is precious.

It doesn’t matter what side you are on, confrontation kills people for no reason. Time to
stop religious confrontation before weapons of mass destruction fall into the wrong hands.

People do not need religion to live moral lives

The fact is that cooperation is necessary for survival, and people have operated in tribes
and communities since time began. We get further through cooperation, than through
confrontation. Only weapon manufacturers benefit from wars, and my generation is still
paying for wars that ended over 50 years ago.

The church would have us believe that without religion and the threat of eternal damnation
that people would revert to destructive chaos, but before religion, communities lived in
peaceful harmony until missionaries forced their beliefs through religious wars of
destruction.

The church would have us believe that without religion, that we would become selfish, but
look around you to see the great wealth that the church amassed, local vicarages provide
evidence of the privileged lifestyle that religious leaders enjoyed in times gone by. Old
ladies have left their estates to the church to buy their way into a concept called heaven
that probably does not exist. People have always been charitable, look around to see the
many non religious charities that exist, people do good naturally.

In fact, religions have been the cause of many wars, suicide bombings, scare mongering,
falsehoods, mass conditioning and control.

Nice Life - The Path to Positive Enlightenment provides an alternative guide to positive
living, free of religious prejudice.

Nice Life does not oppose religion, for opposition is not the point of the exercise. Besides
which, as vividly demonstrated by religious factions, confrontation is dangerous,
confrontation kills. Whilst philosophers philosophize, humanists and atheists ponder and
contemplate, Nice Life provides the path forward to a nice life without religion, providing a
framework for positive living without the need for religious conflict, wars and state
organized conflicts that have been so destructive in the past.
The positive code for living seeks to provide a future framework to neutralize negative
activities through positive influence. We do not oppose negativity to produce more conflict,
we neutralize it.

No more good and evil, with all the religious connotations and word associations, we
describe positive or negative action. We neutralize negativity via positive influence for the
cooperation and harmonized existence for all.
