Footing Design for Column Load and Moment

The document summarizes the design of a footing to support a 100 ton load and 30 meter-ton reversible moment applied to a 0.3x0.6m column. It provides the dimensions and reinforcement details for both a plain concrete and reinforced concrete footing. The plain concrete footing is designed to be 0.4m thick. The reinforced concrete footing is designed to be 0.75m thick and 0.8m deep with 11#20 bars along the long direction and 6#20 bars along the short direction. All requirements for shear, punching, and bond are checked to be satisfied.

Sec: 3 Footing subjected to moment Date:..............

EX
A 0.3x0.6m column supports a load of 100 t and a reversible moment
(along the column length) of 30m.t. It is required to design a footing to
support the column straining actions considering the plain concrete
thickness to be 40cm.
