Kindergarten Oral Language Lesson Plan

Students will create unique zoo animals using different shapes and materials. The teacher will model the activity by building an animal using at least 3 shapes. Students will then independently create their own animals, using a variety of shapes. To check for understanding, the teacher will ask each student to describe their animal by telling 3 attributes. The goal is for students to speak audibly about their creations.
