Shapes Lesson Reflection and Insights

The shapes lesson went well and achieved the teacher's goals. Students enjoyed identifying shapes in a low-level activity and making shapes out of straws in a medium-level activity, which helped them understand sides and corners. A planned high-level activity of drawing shapes outside was changed to drawing on the smartboard due to visitors. Overall, the lesson was successful and students enjoyed learning about shapes.

Shapes Lesson Reflection

My reflection of implementing of activities for the shapes


lesson is that it went well, the students enjoyed, and my goals
that I sat for this lesson were achieved at the end of the lesson,
but there are things that I will change in the future.

The low-level activity I think was suitable for the student's


activity because it enough for them to identify the shapes only
and they did. The medium level activity went very well the
students really like the idea of making shapes with straw also it
made them understand the concept of sides and corners
because they were counting how many straws they need to
make the shape. For the high level the Miss told it to me better
not to let the students go out because there were visitors in the
school, so instead of that, I made the students draw the shapes
on the smartboard with markers.

Finally, I believe that the lesson was successful and the


students enjoyed.
