Weekly Schedule Reflection Insights

The student created a weekly schedule using Google Calendar to incorporate the seven things from the "Mindsight Simple Seven" article that should be done each day to keep a healthy mind. However, the student did not actually follow the schedule or implement any of the seven things. While time management skills could be useful, the student does not think planning each day is realistic for college and did not find the assignment important or useful.

Weekly Schedule Reflection

I used Google calendars to keep up with my weekly schedule and had the notifications

come to my phone. This assignment did not require help instead I used the article on Mindsight

Simple Seven by Dan Siegel to find the seven things that I should do throughout the day to keep

a healthy mind. It didnt take me long to create my schedule and I didnt mind doing it even

though I thought it was pointless.

The weekly schedule came out as I intended because I knew that I wasnt actually going

to go by the schedule that I had planned in my calendar. My weekly schedule was not successful

because I did not implement any of the seven things into my everyday life. However, I could

work on down time I think that down time is important and I want to start making time for

myself to relax.

If I ever did this assignment again I would probably only put the things that Im

interested in making time for in my schedule so that I wont be getting notifications for no

reason. Skills from this project that I could use would have to be time management. It is always

good to manage your time. However, I dont think it is realistic to plan out your day, every day,

at a certain time in college. I did not actually use this assignment and I dont feel that it was

important.
