Chose a math activity and then plan how you will fit the activity over the 5
stages of inquiry

THE 5 STAGES OF INQUIRY

Ill give the students flower with different colors. And Ill
ENGAGE ask them about what the different and the similarities
between the flowers.

Each student will know that they have similar color or


EXPLORE different by discussing with the classmate. And they will
classify the flowers by depending on the colors.

The students will explain why the rank the flowers(put the
EXPLAIN same colors together)

ELABORATE/EXT
END The teacher will agree with what her students say, but she
adds more information for them. For example, she will say:
oh you make classifying flowers by colors.

The students will name the color of a flower. And the


teacher will create the activity to know what student
EVALUATE learned the lesson. For example: put two boxes for each
box teacher will stick the color name to make it easy for
students to make classifying. Then the teacher will see that
her students understand the lesson.
