High School Transcript Reflection

Anisa reflects on her high school transcripts and attendance. While her grades met some standards, she feels she could have pushed herself more, such as aiming for a 4.0 in easier freshman courses. She took several advanced classes like Pre-AP English and is proud of challenging herself. Math was always a struggle, and she repeated a course twice. As a student-athlete, she balanced sports, school, and leadership. Her attendance was rarely an issue, with most absences her senior year due to surgery. Anisa sees her transcripts and attendance as a reflection of her dedication and perseverance over four years of high school.

Transcript/Attendance Reflection

As I take the time to reflect upon my grades, Ive come to realize that I didnt push

myself to reach my full potential. Although Ive taken a handful of Advanced Placement courses,

I do think I could have done more and worked harder. I know that my grades are well above

average and they may meet the standards of others, but for me I would have expected more.

Starting my freshman year, I wish I would have taken advantage of my easy courses that year

and took the opportunity to easily obtain a 4.0. I am proud of the fact that I was partaking in

advanced courses such as Pre-AP English both freshman and sophomore year, additionally I

decided to take World History Advanced my sophomore year. Im proud that I took initiative and

challenged myself to take higher learning courses. The course that Ive always struggled with

was math, it has never been my strong suit. Junior and Senior year have been a struggle as Ive

repeated the same course twice. I believe that my transcripts are a reflection of dedication and

perseverance. Being a student-athlete is always challenging, I was able to juggle sports, school,

and leadership and with that I am proud.

My attendance has never been an issue, my senior year I have missed the most days

because of surgery and other medical verified excuses. Even though it can be hard to pry myself

out of bed every morning, I am dedicated and I understand the value of a free education. My

attendance is a reflection of my dedication and hard-work these past four years.
