Critical and creative thinking is important because it induces both inductive and
independent learning. The learners cognitive aspects are greatly sharpened by the
methods that teachers could use in delivering their daily lessons by asking
questions in the Higher Order Thinking Skills of The Blooms Taxonomy. Furthermore,
a learner can develop less dependency on the teacher because he/she is allowed to
venture in to his/her creative aspects in which the teacher will only serve as the
facilitator of learning
