Pride Essay

An accomplishment that I take great pride in is, when I finished my junior year I moved

to Merced and when summer was over and school was going to start I was planning to attend

Merced High School but it turns out I was missing a lot of credits for me to graduate and because

of that I was asked to attend Yosemite High School a continuation school, I ended up agreeing to

attend that school, the plan was to attend that school to catch up with my credits to later move to

Merced High School for the second semester. It made me sad to have to go to that school

because I was really looking forward to being at Merced High and joining the soccer team. The

first weeks were hard and it seemed like it never wouldve finished. I didn't really make friends

because I didn't try to, after all I wasn't there to make friends. The reason I am proud of this

achievement is because I made it through even though it didn't seem like I would at the

beginning, I achieved 72.0 credits in one semester which was four months I stayed everyday

after school at the After School program and went to adult school after the program ended each

day and in adult school I was the one who finished first with the course that I was taking I did

this two times because I had to go back after to complete another course. And I finished two

online classes along with my other normal classes. It was definitely something to be proud of.
