1960s Prop Design Feedback Summary

The document provides feedback on packaging designs for props in a film set in the 1960s. For the cigarette packaging, feedback indicated that a simple green stripe design was most recognizable as cigarettes and suited the era. For the marmalade jar, feedback favored using block colors from 1960s imagery over a plain white design. Feedback also suggested using a metal lid. For the whiskey bottle, feedback was that imitating an existing 1960s design captured the era, and that simplicity through black and white worked better than additional colors.

Many felt that the use of too much colour was

of red was more appropriate than the use of yellow as
it is recognised as a marmalade colour. Many felt it was
successful taking this red colour from the 1960s imagery.
They also felt that the colour from this era was a visual
trigger that the target audience would connect with and
identify this from that era and style of film.

People preferred the use of the royal warrant emblem

The use of just using black and white and not taking

People felt that using the colour red and symbols

used, it would have to be consistent.
