Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

- Before I start to teach the lesson, I will remind students my rules


- I will use the 5s at my lesson (engage, explore, explain, extend, and evaluation)
- The first thing I will welcome students, take their attendance, talk about the day, date and
the weather (the routine of the halakha)
- Then I will start my lesson about letter d, I will ask students which letter did think we will
take today? Are you ready or happy to know about which letter we will learn?
- After the students explore the letter, they will explain to me the letter (students center), then
I will put for them video about letter d
- Students will give me different example about letter d
Time:15 min

- The activities for whole class are I will put on the mat several letters, then students will find

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

- Students will design the letter d and design by different materials, also when they create the
design they should say the sound of the letter.

- Pupils will have a small card and they should say the sound of the letter, create the letter
and writ it.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

- Children will have a worksheet and they should find an upper case and lower case of letter
d, they should colour the dinosaur that they have on their sheet.
Time: 15 min - I will sing the clean up song or use the bell to close the activity, then I will make a quick
revision to close the lesson.

Assessment

- I will observe the children while they do the activities and ask students a various question to look at
their understanding. Also, when I ask them questions at the end of the lesson.
