PROFIBUS is the world leading field bus network with over 10 million installed nodes. With high
levels of investment the users demand a good return on investment. The two key areas of
concern for the end users are Installation and Diagnostics of PROFIBUS networks. Often a
simple problem such as termination can play havoc with the network and result in down time.

PROFIBUS Installers course is aimed at individuals who are involved in specification,


installation and operation of PROFIBUS network. This is a one-day course covering both
theoretical and practical aspects of the PROFIBUS networks installation. The course will cover:
Introduction to PROFIBUS DP and PA networks, PROFIBUS networks installation guidelines,
Diagnosing common PROFIBUS faults, and Intrinsically Safe PROFIBUS networks. There are
