Distribution systems

The creation of distribution systems help transport activities, storage and inventory
of the supply chain.
From the packaging design to the customer when the product is delivered in the
best conditions.

The packaging has the following principles: standardization, prices, product or

package adaptability, level of protection, packaging handling capacity, reutalizacin
and recyclability.
The relationship configuration packaging design pallet allows the package design
can reduce costs and improve efficiency in storage, staging and transport of the
products according to wing capacity of the largest container and the dimenciones
bulk package.

Not only positioning the boxes on a pallet is important to calculate the size of the
pallets you may need look.

Material handling offers an efficient and sensitive material flow in the facility but not
only the flow is important, the materials must be kept clean, dry and safe.
A wing itself must preserve health and safety of people who are part of the
process.

OBJECTIVES LOGISTICOS

Create a policy provisioning, storage and distribution project in line with the
estimated time 1 month.
Establish procedures for control of the project estimated one-month time.
Detect that distribution model and strategies can be employed in the project
estimated time 1 month.
Choose suppliers that meet the quality standards of the company and that
conform to our payment system estimated one-month time.

Production Strategy:
The production strategy would be based on the production process buffets or
selling products online. The strategy that we use is the make-to- order because:
It has a high level of flexibility of the products.
The products are manufactured to order.
Allows wide variety of product lines.
They are manufactured in accordance with the requirements or customer
specifications.

Distribution and storage strategy:

It will be used for the project crossdocking temporary storage and a type of
temporary storage.
LOGISTICAS VARIABLES ASSOCIATED WITH TRANSPORTATION MODES
The variables to consider in this project are:
Procurement: Quality of inputs delivered, delivery time, prices of inputs delivered,
delivery performance, financing.
Production and storage: Production capacity used, time of completion of the
decorations, production costs and assembly decorations, rotation of raw materials,
inventory levels and policies, storage time and storage costs.
Distribution: Analysis of transportation costs, unit costs dispatched, delivery time,
store incomplete deliveries, level of customer satisfaction.

Factors influencing the use of retail cross-docks

Cross-docking depends on continuous communication between suppliers,

distribution centers, and all points of sale
Customer and supplier geography, particularly when a single corporate customer
has many multiple branches or using points
Freight costs for the commodities being transported
Cost of inventory in transit
Complexity of loads
Handling methods
Logistics software integration between supplier(s), vendor, and shipper
Tracking of inventory in transit.

APPLICATION OF TOOLS JUST IN TIME

1) We will establish an agreement with suppliers for spot supplies.
2) We will control quality of raw materials barely reach, whether inventories will
decline and will diminish useless waste.
3) Reduce inventory by 50% .
4) Shorten the distances between one area and another production processes will
decline to 30%.
5) We will buy machinery for production support not down.
6) Workers help make a master production and processes to minimize the time
plan.
PACKING

Packaging products using in EMPIRE used are:

Barrel or cuaternola.
It is a perfectly clean wooden or enameled container used to transport wine.

Drawer: Construction of wooden boxes tailored for maritime shipping. The pallets
of which are tailored to support 15 to 30 tons are commonly made of wood are very
resistant samn. Used to transport works of art, paintings and sculptures large and
heavy machinery.

Saco: Wrap fabric (jute, calico, nylon) with rectangular opening at one end.
Example: Grains, wheat flour.

Roll: Conditioning circular cables, wires, etc., serves to carry cables, wires sound
and visual.

Case: Part of hand baggage used to transport luggage to lower weight.

Jaba: Wooden structure that leaves visible content, machinery used to transport
merchandise.

Bottles: elongated glass or metal containers used to transport tabular form liquids
and gases.

Box: Cardboard box of small dimensions used to transport spirits, bottled and
fragile merchandise.

Lata: metal and small container used to transport dimenciones butter, fat and dry
substances.
TYPES OF PALLETS

wooden pallets placed with the following specifications:

Hygienic aspects of managing Pallets in the Food Industry

The pallets must be stored instead preferably covered. These should be

stored in an organized manner. In many plants we have seen pallets
disorganized in the outer areas, these become shelter for pests. When we
store the pallets outside these may be contaminated with fecal matter from
birds, rats, insects all potential of contamination of microorganisms.

If stored outside when entering the plant must be cleaned and inspected to
ensure that they do not carry roaches or rats to stay hidden among them.
Normally we do not take a single palette, but these are transported using
forklifts on each other and this is conducive to that rats can hide.

Keep separate pallets. Pallets for hygienic areas should not be used in any
other zone and must be properly identified.

The quality of wooden pallets is also important. Quality control should

ensure good cutting boards and avoid having chips. There should be no
protruding nails.
The moisture content of the wood has a great influence on the survival and
growth of microbes. A general rule is that the timber will have moisture
content below 20% to prevent the growth of fungi and bacteria. A higher
moisture content the better survival of the bacteria. Therefore, they must be
stored under controlled conditions.

As for meat products and seafood wooden pallets can only be used for
transport of packaged products.

Some food products are also very sensitive to deterioration in the taste for
odors. Some people have discussed the possibility of using stainless steel
pallets for transporting food.

To avoid possible contamination, cheap and easy solution is to use wooden

pallets with slip sheet on top. The blades can be held in separate areas and
the sliding plates can be made of various reusable materials.
