The makeup notes describe the makeup designs for the characters in the film "Fearful Frights." For the character Adam, no makeup was used to portray a typical school boy. For the possessed girl antagonist, varying shades of makeup were applied to create a haunting, dead effect and draw the audience's attention through contrast with other characters. For the protagonist Sarah Thompson, no makeup was used to depict a normal school girl.

Makeup Notes for Fearful

Frights

For the character Adam

makeup was not used as
his character was to
conform to a typical
school boy in his uniform.

For the antagonist (possessed girl)

we used different shades of
makeup to create an effect for the
audience. Her makeup would
reflect that shes amongst the
dead and therefore is present to
haunt the living. It also contrasts
heavily with the makeup of the
faces of the other characters and
as a result garbs the attention of
the audience straight away.

For the protagonist

(Sarah Thompson) we
again decided to not use
any makeup so that we
could effectively convey
her as a normal school
girl.
