Performance Analysis
4.1
Introduction
This chapter shows the tests and analysis done by the proponents
in the development of their system. It also shows here the results of their
tests and how they handled every error of their system and the changes
that they have made and what the system should be able to do and what
the proponents did to achieve the expected results of their tests.
The proponents started designing the back-end and front-end. They
conducted an experiment by using fixed and ready-made navigation bar
for the front-end, but its not suitable for the system. The proponents also
do some experiment for adding a menu, creating a package and its
restriction, and try to save and retrieve data. They also conducted a test for
the transaction from filling-up the text fields, selecting menu up to the
billing statement to filter the errors that may cause failures in the accurate.
The proponents also made a rescheduling function for the customer and
monitoring for the management and to update the reservations to complete
the reservation process.

Experimental

First the proponents design the front end. Navigation bar is the first
the proponents designed, but the ready-made design of navigation bar is
fixed and another navigation cant be added so the proponents decided to
manually design the navigation menu.
Then the proponents focused on making the menu and a package
maintenance module. The menu page should retrieve the information of
the menu including the image, and can be manipulated. Also the package
should retrieve the menu and its details inside the sample package that the
proponents created. The proponents also created a restriction in creating a
menu package by filtering the total price of the selected menu. The Choice
1 and Choice 2 menu package should be equal in terms in total price, if
not; the created package will not be saved. The proponents took a long
time in creating this restriction. The proponents also created a page that
will view the entire menu according to their category.
In the transaction, the proponents tried to save and retrieve the
information of the reservation that they filled-up in the reservation form
including the menu. In the summary page, the data should retrieve all the
information, breakdown of menu ordered, accurately computed the total
payment, down payment and filtering errors.
In terms of re-scheduling the proponents tried to retrieve the date
of all the reservation to inform the customer that the specific date is
already taken.

The proponents create a monitoring page that will sort by group
depending on the status of the reservation. It has a notification that counts
and informs the admin that there are some customers who wanted to
change their reservation schedule.
4.3
Results and Analysis
In the experiment in making a design of navigation menu, the
proponents manually designed the navigation menu that will be easy to
manipulate.
In the case of retrieving the details, specially the image, at first the
system cant display the image of the menu because of the wrong location
that the proponent encoded, but now the image are displayed. In terms of
restriction in creating a package by filtering the total price of each choice
in the package, this module has been successfully done because of some
tutorial. The proponents made a function that holds the total price of each
choices and comparing them until they met an exact amount of price in
each choices. In viewing of all menus by category, the proponents made a
function that calls a specific category resulting in the displaying of menu
under each category.
In the transaction, at first the breakdowns of menu where not
displayed, but later the proponents successfully saved, retrieved the data
properly and got the accurate computation of payments.

After the transaction of the customer, the admin will be receiving a
notification of new reservations, cancellation request and re-scheduling
request by the customer so that the admin can update the status of the
reservation.
The results of the all tests are just as expected by the proponents
and the system is able to finish a full transaction cycle and the monitoring
and management of their menu are accurate to the updates done by the
admin.
4.4
Summary
The test that the proponents conducted on their system helped them
to see the errors and fixed their system and making it even better for their
client. The proponents tried the overall process of their system from
adding new menus, creating a new package, creating a new account for the
customer, making a reservation from entering details of reservation,
choosing a menu up to the billing statement. This data will be saved on
systems database to maintain the records of all their customers
transaction and also to update their menu, package, events and information
that the customer needed to know by the admin. The system is now
functional and working, the proponents has achieved their objectives for
their client.
