Existentialism means a man is responsible for his actions. An individual is

free to make choices in his life and responsible for the consequences of his
choices. Existentialism points out that there is nothing to guide us and
explain purpose of our existence. After the second world war, existentialism
movement began to flourish in France (1940s).Soren Kiekergaard was a
father of existentialism. He says man is responsible to add meaning to his life
because of his experiences. Existentialism boredom means that when
man feels or thinks life is boring and purposeless. He is unable to find or
give meaning to life. It adds sufferings to life. Existentialism anxiety
occurs when we deeply question or think about our existence, our objective
of life and our identity. We get frustrate with these questions. Another idea is
existence precedes essence which means humans exist on earth before
their essence. They have to make what they make of themselves because
they are conscious of their existence.
