Gauss-Seidel Load Flow Analysis

Using the Gauss-Seidel method and a 3-bus power system model with given bus voltages, generations, loads, and line impedances: 1) Determine the phasor voltages at buses 2 and 3 after two iterations, finding 1.0108+j0.0108 and 1.0052+j0.0052. 2) Calculate the slack bus real and reactive power after iteration 2 as 50 MW and 30 MVAr. 3) Compute the line flows and losses after iteration 2, obtaining real and reactive line flows between buses 1-2 of 6.12 MW and 2.52 MVAr with losses of 0.12 MW and 0.04 MVAr.

Example -1

Solve the following load flow problem:

Using the Gauss- Seidel method, determine the phasor values of the voltage at buses 2
and 3. (Two iterations)
Find the slack bus real and reactive power after second iteration
Determine the line flows and line losses after second iteration (neglect line charging
