WORLD GAMES XIii

The Hilltoppers Academy School would like to thank the World Games Committee

for giving us the opportunity to host the 13th World Games Tournament. A not-forprofit organization (501(c)(3)

The Hilltoppers Academy School also would like to thank the City of San Jose, Santa
Clara County Fairgrounds, the community of San Jose, all of the High Schools, Jr.
High Schools, from all over the state. Our Tournament is promoted to give kids,
young girls, young boys, opportunity to play the game of basketball at a high level
of committed basketball. Also to raise funds so that kids can travel to other states
and cities to mix their community and way of life & their basketball skills with other
communities and kids.
The World Games & the Hilltoppers Academy School gives kids this opportunity.
The game is about the kids, and not parents self-indulgence but we need parents to
strengthen their kids for idleness; ups and downs that not only basketball has, but the
ups and downs that come on and off the courts.
Self-indulgent lifestyle in the game of basketball is the desire to please only oneself,
historically, all players or parents that desire the lifestyle is unconcern with others and
will always have a letdown in life and in the game of basketball. The game of basketball
is a team sport and when you become a team player, you win even when your team
loses at times. So when you are discouraged and weary in heart, help somebody today!
If you help someone in the journey today, the light shall see you tomorrow. Have
pride, but be not prideful.
