Question 2
Determine the Q/A using Qij+1 and Qi+1J for the
Muskingum-Cunge model. Consider a 100-ftwide rectangular channel with a bed slope of
0.015 ft/ft and a Manning's n = 0.035. The
distance between cross-sections is 2000 ft and
the routing time interval is 10 min. Given are
Qij+1 = 1000 cfs, QiJ = 800 cfs, and Qi+1J = 700 cfs.
Next compute K and X and then the routing
coefficients.
