Teaching Letter O: Activities & Crafts

I taught a lesson on the letter O to children. I selected a boy named Mohammed to choose letter O from a basket of letters. We studied the letter O by writing it on the board and with play dough, then the children worked on a worksheet while I explained how to answer the questions step-by-step. To reinforce the letter, we sang a song with words starting with O and did an activity matching leaves with words starting with O to pictures of flowers. Finally, the children made octopus crowns as a craft project using materials starting with the letter O.

board with the leaves that include some word then I chose two children to challenge each other and I
explained for them that they should choose the leaves started with O letter and paste them around the
center of the flowers. In the end of the lesson I gave the children some materials to make crafts which
