Classroom Management Strategies in Teaching

The teacher arrives before students and gets students lined up outside or inside the classroom. To start the day, the teacher greets students with a song and asks how everyone is feeling. One student is chosen to help count classmates. At the end of the day, students are dismissed to get snacks then line up to board buses. To move students between activities, the teacher claps and sings to get their attention. When students misbehave by being loud, the teacher offers chocolate as a reward for being quiet, which works to stop the misbehavior. To stop an activity, the teacher simply says "stop" and the students comply.
