Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation in the Catholic Church where those who have been baptized receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands by a bishop. During confirmation, Christians receive the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete or advocate, to help continue Jesus' mission by strengthening their faith and guiding them towards truth. The sacrament is celebrated through anointing with chrism on the forehead and confirms one's identity as a Christian believer filled with the Holy Spirit.

Confirmation

Confirmation is one of the 3 sacraments of


initiation may people receive there confirmation
during their baptism. Confirmation continues the
baptismal grace. during confirmation we receive
3 things:
The holy spirit
Paraclete
The advocate

Confirmation helps us continue the mission of


our lord and it helps us strengthen our baptismal
faith it also guides us towards the truth.

The celebration of confirmation celebrates the


faith of the church through the power of the holy
spirit during Pentecost because the power of the
holy spirit is life transforming.

During confirmation the holy spirit lives in us,


acts through us, assists us, strengthens us, and
guides us in the right direction.
Confirmation gives us the gift of courage, hope,
strength, purpose, peace, grace, and truth.

The sacrament of confirmation is celebrated by


anointing someone with chrism on their
forehead.

Confirmation confirms that you're a Christian


and a follower of the most loving God. it
confirms that the holy spirit is in you and you are
a true believer.
