SUBJECT: AUTHORITY TO CONDUCT TRAINING - WORKSHOP ON
CALIBRATION AND MAINTENANCE OF COLORIMETERS/
SPECTROPHOTOMETERS
In the interest of the service and in view of the need to enhance the knowledge and technical
capability of the EMB Central Office and regional laboratory staff in performing calibration and
maintenance of laboratory equipment, the Environmental Research and Laboratory Services
division (ERLSD) is hereby authorized to conduct the Training- Workshop on Calibration and
Maintenance of Colorimeters/ Spectrophotometers to be held on 17- 21 October 2016 in Quezon
City (venue to be announced).

Attendance shall be on official time. Travelling expenses of regional participants shall be borne
by their respective offices. All other expenses to be incurred in relation to the conduct of the
Training- Workshop shall be chargeable against the EMB funds, subject to the usual accounting,
auditing, and budgeting procedures.
