Year 7 Music Elements Assessment Guide

This document outlines the learning aims, skills, and targets for a Year 7 music class. There are three learning aims: (1) understand the elements of music and how composers can write variations; (2) use elements of music to compose a set of variations; and (3) evaluate the final composition. For each aim, target ranges from 2-4, 4-6, and 6-9 are provided to show the expected progression in skills from novice to developing to secure.
