This document analyzes the relationship between workload, pay, professional respect and musculoskeletal pain in teachers. 151 teachers from the State University of Paraiba were surveyed about their ability to work and painful symptoms. The study examines how excessive workload, low pay and lack of respect can decrease a teacher's ability to work and increase musculoskeletal pain.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: With the excessive workload of the teachers, low pay, professional
devaluation, among other factors, it becomes inevitable to decreased the ability to work
and increase the musculoskeletal symptoms. OBJECTIVE: Analyze the relationship
between the ability to work and painful musculoskeletal symptoms teachers of an
Instituio de Ensino Superior of Campina Grande/PB. METHODOLOGY: study of
descriptive character, transversal and quantitative. Will be interviewed 151 teachers of
the State University of Paraiba (UEPB), in the Center of Biological Sciences and
Health, in the city of Campina Grande-PB.
