Week 1

1. Identify the problem why I need the bag


2. Formulate the specification s that would meet the need of the user

Week 2

1. Generate a range of feasible designs and evaluate each design


against the
specifications
2. Evaluate the suitability of the materials for the bag

Week 3

1. Create a prototype of the bag and made modifications to the design if


necessary

Week 4

1. Creation- Measure and cut out the bag according to the specified
dimension
2. Draw up a step-by step plan for the construction of the bag.

Week 5

1. Sew the hem of the pocket


2. Stitch the pocket to wrong side of the back piece of the bag
3. Sew the seams to the bottom of the bag

Week 6

1. Sew the seams to the sides of the bag


2. Stitch the hem to the top of the bag
3. Sew on the pinch base

Week 7

1. Attach the strap of the bag to the top sides of the bag
2. Join the fastener to the top of the bag
3. Decorate the bag and bring home for embroidery using sewing
machine at home

Week 8

1. Do final touch ups (add more decorations if not satisfied)


2. Reflect on the process (difficulties, what I did well, modifications, what
I could have done differently)
3. Updating of blog, taking photos
