Module Three: Early Religion

At the end of this module, students should be able to:


Identify key elements of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam including
mythos, historical origins, and key historical figures.
Identify the similarities and differences between Judaism, Christianity,
and Islam.
Describe the cultural transition from polytheistic theologies into
monotheistic systems.
Describe the origins of patriarchy, and discuss the relationships
between patriarchy, culture, and major world religions.
Analyze the major contributions of the early religions in establishing
moral codes in societies.
