Reactor Design and Catalyst Calculation

This document provides design parameters for two fixed-bed reactors. It includes specifications for the catalyst, feed properties, and operating conditions. The catalyst is UOP I8 Grey Extrudate with a voidage of 0.3 and packing density of 24.96 lb/ft3. Reactor 1 operates at 300°F and 450 psi using a feed with density of 8.01 lb/ft3. Reactor 2 operates at 290°F and 432 psi with a feed density of 10.64 lb/ft3. Pressure drop is calculated using the Ergun equation for both reactors.
