Airflow Control
As a specialised air conditioning manufacturer, Daikin is

This includes airflow direction control and lower indoor temperature fluctuation. Thanks to Daikin technology,
you can enjoy consistent comfort.

Vertical Auto-Swing (up and down)

Horizontal Auto-Swing (left and right)

Vertical Auto-Swing (up and down) automatically moves the

flaps up and down to distribute air across a room. When the
air conditioner is turned off, the flaps shut automatically so
that dust can not enter.

Horizontal Auto-Swing automatically moves the louvers to the

left and right to cover a room with cool air. This function is
available for 5.0, 6.0 and 7.1 kW models.

3D Airflow
3D Airflow combines Vertical and Horizontal Auto-Swing to
reduce indoor temperature fluctuation. This function
circulates air to every part of a room for uniform cooling of
even large spaces. To start 3D Airflow, push both the Vertical
and Horizontal Auto-Swing buttons. The flaps and louvers
swing in turn. This function is available for 5.0, 6.0 and 7.1
kW models.

Power-Airflow Dual Flaps

New Powerful Operation boosts airflow to maximum volume

for a 20 minute period. This is convenient when you want to
quickly adjust the indoor temperature to the set temperature.
After this, the unit automatically returns to its previous settings.

Power-Airflow Dual Flaps flatten out during cooling operation

to deliver air to every part of a room. Choosing the low angle
sends air right to the corners, while choosing the high angle
spreads air around the centre.

Wide-Angle Louvers
Wide-Angle Louvers provide wide airflow coverage for effective
operation no matter where the indoor unit is placed in a room.
The louvers can be adjusted to deliver cool air to the corners
of a room either by hand or using the wireless remote
controller. The remote controller can be used to adjust
the 5.0, 6.0 and 7.1 kW models.

Deodorising Function
Air-Purifying Filter with Photocatalytic Deodorising Function2 is
able to trap microscopic particles and even remove bacteria. This
filter features a large active surface area that effectively cleans the
high volumes of air required to air-condition living rooms. The
filter delivers consistent performance for approximately three
years if periodic maintenance is performed. This function is
available for 5.0 kW model.
