Objective:
To perform the tasks of Inventory Control, warehousing, receiving or stores distribution in a
manufacturing, wholesale or retail environment. I also have the aptitude to learn just about
anything within the realm of my past work and life experiences, just ask me.
Summary:
Analytically driven, with an eye for detail. Ten plus years of experience in material handling,
inventory movement and tracking in various industries, including; automotive, marine
electronics, and medical device manufacturing. Flexibility to function in other roles, such as
order service, receiving, and shipping. Organization is a must.
Functional Qualifications:
Inventory Control:
Review shipping documents for accuracy. i.e.: quantities, verification of correct items sent,
correct serial numbers, shipping charges, etc. Contact customers to notify them when incorrect
shipments occurred, and how they would be corrected. Review incoming packing slips against
data entry reports for accuracy. Perform daily cycle count and inventory reconciliation for
reporting to auditors. Assisted in the development of procedures to improve company inventory
and auditing control. Adjusted serial number logs of equipment from daily discrepancy reports.
Maintain and distribute used equipment listings to sales department. Expedite ordering of
components/parts to ensure the timely completion or repair of the end product.
Receiving:
Receive and process inventory shipments, including reconciliation of quantities against
purchase order to packing slip, inspection for damage, and proper material segregation, etc.
Perform inventory transactions from packing slips into inventory control data system Work with
priority lists from buyers for expediting critical components. Notify buyer/planners of
discrepancies between packing slips and purchase order. Contact vendors to resolve any
discrepancies in a timely manner. Coordinate correction of discrepancies between purchasing
and accounting departments. Distribute items to various areas, i.e.: Quality Control dept., bulk
supply area, stores, technicians, office supplies, and returned goods.
Automotive:
3 years experience at a NAPA store as a delivery driver and counter sales. Tasks also included
were receiving and checking in all incoming freight, processing customer special orders,
stocking shelves, maintain the front showroom, mixing automotive paints, front counter duties
and as a helper in the machine shop.
5 years working at 5 other various parts stores and dealerships including Mercedes/BMW,
Volkswagon, BAP/GEON, Lucas and others. Also 2 years in auto detailing.
Training:
Ten plus years total on the job training. Two years of Hazardous Material safety training. Two
months of informal APICS training. Windows Excel and Word classes. Four months of formal
ISO9002 training. Previous forklift safety certifiable.

Labor Ready 03/08 – Current
Position: Laborer.
General construction clean-up duties. Apartment grounds maintenance. Last assignment that
ended 05-22-09 was at KCI performing the duties of Process Technician for Bariatric therapy
beds and Wound VAC units from cleaning to QC. These duties were not limited to and included
other aspects of infection control, organizing and preparing materials for fast turnaround and
FIFO of all equipment.
Gordon Finch Homes 09/07 – 01/08
Position: Laborer. General clean-up duties. Operation of 1 ton and 2 ton dump trucks. Tear off
of footing forms for foundation prep, and other aspects of concrete prep. Deliver equipment and
materials when needed. Many other duties involving home construction from start to finish. Was
given full responsibility and put in charge of organizing and obtaining quotes for storage
solutions of the company storage facility.
Humanix 05/06 – 09/07
Position: General Labor. Mostly clean up assignments for remodel and construction sites.
Labor Ready 05/06 – 09/07
Position: General Labor. Including an assignment with Meridian Construction as a skilled
laborer performing carpentry and concrete tasks. Also put in charge of cleaning out and re-
organized the equipment trailers. Also other related assignments.
Volt Services Group 05/06 – 09/07
Position: General Labor. Including an assignment at Alutek involving the clean up of the Main
General Meeting room and two main storage areas. Tasks included sorting and disposing of
obsolete parts and equipment, the assembly and placement of storage racks, cubical dividers
and the cleaning of walls and windows through out the entire office areas. I even did the
assistant manager a favor and re-arranged and organized her office for greater efficiency and
more room with a better traffic flow (with permission of course!).
MMI International Trading 09/04 – 03/06
Position: Warehouse/ Packaging Department. Receive and stock incoming freight. Pull
product from stock to distribute to the packaging department. Un-package and verify count of
product to be processed by the print department, re-package same product for shipping to the
customer.
Composite Aerospace Technologies/Diamondstar Aircraft 03/97 – 12/04
Position: Fabricator, purchaser, and inventory control. Fabrication of epoxy composite parts
for quarter scale radio controlled model airplane kits. Use of epoxy composite materials, and all
related tools and equipment including vacuum bagging. The fabrication of equipment for
producing said parts. Track inventory and supplies for replenishment. Place orders in
accordance with replenishment needs.
Sears Service Center
Position: Counter Person. Receive customer items for repair/ service. Stock and distribute
parts to stores. Fill and stage work orders for service trucks.
Devices for Vascular Intervention
Position: Material Handler. Duties included stores distribution to manufacturing, warehousing
and receiving department. Also assisted in the coordination, packaging and shipping of sterile
load shipments. I also received an accountability award for the implementation of direct Kanban
distribution to manufacturing ahead of planned schedule and many more other projects and
improvement implementations.
Furuno Marine Electronics USA Inc.
Position: Parts Dept. Inventory Control. Developed research procedures for unlisted and
hard to find parts. Integrated product modification updates into research system from technical
support staff. Reduced inventory variance from, 20% to 0.2%, within a one year period by
assisting the inventory manager to develop and redesign company wide procedures.
