Activities Module

Action song

Aim: The action song competition is held to encourage and increase the use of English
language among the younger pupils.
Competition rules

This competition is open to Year One to Year 3 pupils.


Each team should comprise 5 to 15 pupils.
Each team should be accompanied by the class teacher.
Each team must present two songs.
On-stage presentation is 5 to 10 Minutes for one song. Marks will be
deducted thereafter. 3 minutes is allocated for stage preparation before
and another 2 minutes after the presentation with the class teacher as
stage technicians.
Lyrics can be original or adapted.
Contestants are not allowed to refer to any notes or texts during
presentation.
Miming and prompting is not allowed.
Costume: Participants are allowed to wear any costumes based on the
class teachers creativities.

Spell it Right
Aim: To increase the pupils vocabularies.

Competition rules
1. This SIT competition is open to Year One until Year Six.
2. The pupils will be test based on their level of words.
3. SIT will be held in the Alamanda Hall.
Classroom Exhibition
Aim: To improve the use of English Language and the confident level among the pupils.
Participant:
1. Year 4 Malaysian Food
2. Year 5 Malaysian Clothes culture
3. Year 6 - Occupation

The exhibition must be present in English.


All of the show items must be level in English.
The exhibition will be conducted by the class teacher.
All of the class member must be participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition will be judge by a panel of 3 or 5 judges.
Point will be awarded according to the score sheet.

Open quiz
Aim: To improve the pupils English language skill and knowledge.
Participant: The quiz is opened to all the pupils from Year One to Year Six
Quiz Rules:

The questions of the quiz are based on the pupils level.


The question will be show through the projector.
The quiz will be held in Alamanda Hall.
The pupils who want to answer the quiz must raise their hand quickly and they
will be selected by the teacher in charge.

Language Run
Aim: To increase the use of English language among the level 2 pupils in their daily life.
Competition rules:

1. This competition is open to Year Four, Year Five and Year Six only.
2. The group for the Language Run will be divided by the teacher equally and
combining the pupils from each standard.
3. The member for each of the group is unchanged.
4. The fastest groups that can solve and go through all the challenges in the
language Run will be declare as a winner.

Aim: To strengthened the vocabularies of Year One pupils about colours.
Competition Rules:

The pupils must bring their own colour pencil.
The pupils are given an hour to complete the task.
