TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited from OEM / authorized dealers / suppliers having well
equipped service facilities for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for PA systems
in the Conference Halls II & III of this Institute. Interested parties may download the
tender papers from the web site ([Link]). The tenders should be submitted to
the Institute along with earnest money amounting to 2,300/- on or before 20th August
2013 up to 3.30 P.M., which will be opened on the same date at 4.00 P.M. The required
earnest money should be in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in
favour of NIRD-NERC, Guwahati.

The tenders should be submitted along with the earnest money in sealed envelopes
clearly mentioning AMC FOR PA SYSTEMS.
The quoted rates should be all inclusive like taxes, spares, labours etc.
The taxes, if any, should be shown separately for deduction at source.
The rates should be mentioned both in figures and words; however, the rates
mentioned in words will only be taken as correct rates.
To ensure uninterrupted performance, service engineer / technician should
compulsorily visit this office once a week barring normal breakdown visits.
Whenever any complaint is lodged, Service Engineer / Technician should attend
the complaint within 24 hours.
If the downtime of the systems remains beyond 48 hours, the faulty system should
be replaced by a functional system of similar configuration until the faulty system
is rectified. In case no substitute system with equal configuration is provided, the
AMC amount will be deducted for entire systems for the period.
Preventive maintenance shall be carried out by the firm on quarterly basis.
The maintenance services shall include replacement of spares.
In case of failure to send the Service Engineer / Technician within the stipulated
time, other party will be called and the payment made to the other party will be
recovered.
Tenders should be submitted only in the Tender Box placed for the purpose.
No conditional tender will be accepted.
The right to reject any or all the quotations is reserved with the Director, NIRD
NERC, Guwahati
