PERMISSION TYPE: FULL
Newport City Council proposes to institute a local
development order (LDO) in the city centre. The
LDO would grant blanket conditional planning
permission for a range of compatible uses in
existing buildings. In so doing, it would help to
bring vacant units back into use, thus increasing
footfall and creating new opportunities for
business and city-centre living.
The LDO documents are available to view online at

either at the Information Station, Old Station
Buildings, Queensway or at the Central Lending
Library, 4 John Frost Square. A duty oficer is
available at the Information Station every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday (08:30-17:00).
You may comment on this application by e-mailing
