In a series of flashbacks, it is revealed that James found Rebecca cheating on him with another guy, Max. Devastated over the breakup and memories with Rebecca, James throws away the bracelet she gave him. At the skate park, Corbin notices James is upset and offers him drugs, though James says for now he just wants to make himself happy.

1. [Link] PARK-(DAY)
James takes his roller blades out of his bag and starts to roller blade
on the ramps.
JAMES
My name is James. Some people might stereotype me as a typical boy who
doesn't care about grades and spends his time doing drugs and drinking
alcohol but that's not true.
2. EXT. PARK-(FLASHBACK)
James and his girlfriend Rebecca are spending time with one another.
Rebecca gives him a bracelet as a gift.
JAMES
You see her? That's my girlfriend...Sorry I meant my ex.
3. EXT. SKATE PARK (REAL TIME)
James roller blades on the ramps.
JAMES
They say that you don't love someone because they are perfect, you love
them because they are not...Well the fact was she didn't love me at all, I
didn't know what to do.
4. EXT. PARK (FLASHBACK)
James and Rebecca are spending time with one another. James gets sad over
all the memories he has shared with her.
5. EXT. SKATE PARK (REAL TIME)
Corbin walks towards the skate park while James carries on roller blading.
After he finishes roller blading, James sits down on the ramps and takes his
bracelet off and throws it away.
JAMES
Now, what I want more than anything in the world is to feel nothing at all.
Having no feelings is the best way to go sometimes. For the first time, I just
want to make myself happy and nobody else.

6. INT. INSIDE SCHOOL (FLASHBACK)


James is walking along the hallway looking for his girlfriend. As he walks
down the hallway, he turns a corner and finds his girlfriend with another guy.
James pushes Max away from Rebecca and runs away.
JAMES
Having no feelings is the best way to go sometimes.
7. EXT. SKATE PARK (REAL TIME)
Corbin sees James sitting on the ramps and sits next to him. He nudges
James to find out why he looked so upset. Before James gets a chance to
speak, Corbin pulls out drugs from his pocket and shows them to James.
JAMES
For the first time, I just want to make myself happy and nobody else.
