Paris High School Daily Announcements

Seniors will work on court warming posters during the week and need to submit their Who's Who sheets by Tuesday. FBLA and student council will hold a penny wars fundraiser for March of Dimes during Courtwarming week with the winning class getting points. Court warming candidate pictures will be taken on Tuesday. Various extracurricular activities and class projects related to Courtwarming are announced for the different grades. Next week is the Courtwarming spirit week with themed dress up days. Pictures for Courtwarming will be taken during first period by class year.

Paris High School & Junior High


February 9th, 2015

High School:
Seniors will work on court warming posters during intervention all week.
Seniors' Who's Who sheets are due back to Ms. Otto or Mrs. Watson by Tuesday, February 10th.
If you need a sheet, see Ms. Otto ASAP!
FBLA is partnering up with student council to raise money for the March of Dimes.
During Courtwarming week there will be a "penny wars" competition between the
classes and the teachers. Students and teachers can donate money by putting coins
in their own bucket to add to their class's total or put currency into another class's
bucket to subtract from that class's total. The class with the most money at the end
of the week will win points towards the Court warming trophy.
Court warming candidate picture will be taken Tuesday at 9:45.
Juniors work on court warming during intervention in Mrs. Billingtons room.
FFA Fun night is TONIGHT @ 6:30. We will be doing Zumba, eating Subway and playing dodge ball. It
will be held at the old Jr. High gym.

Captain's Club will have a meeting in the conference room on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The meeting
will span all of intervention and lunch. Lunch will be provided.
Freshmen will work on Court warming during intervention in Mrs. Ensors room this week.
Sophomore Court warming work days will be Tuesday and Thursdays during intervention in the Ag
building.
Seniors bring 3-5 pictures from newborn to now for the Senior slideshow. Bring them to Mrs. Otto, Kyle,
Audrey or Russell.

Any 16-18 year old with a 2.0 GPA or higher with good moral character interested in the
Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy see Mrs. Youse. This event will be held May 31 to June 5.
Applications due Feb. 15.

Junior High:

PTSA sponsored JH Valentines Dance February 12th from 7:00-9:00 in the Elementary cafeteria.
For 6th, 7th & 8th grade students.
Congratulations to the Paris JH 7th Grade Team for placing 4th in the North Shelby Quiz Bowl
Tournament.
Congratulations to Charles Creech for making the All-Tournament Team! He placed 6th in the
top 10 7th graders!
Junior High Yearbooks are now on sale for $5.00 please see Mrs. Moreland or Mrs. Forrest for
an order form. Order forms are due February 20th.

Thursday : Coyotes Roll Out [Blue and White]
The picture will happen as Homecoming did. 1st Period is Freshmen 2nd period Sophomores,
3rd is Juniors, and 4th is Seniors. First five minutes and meet by Mrs. Moreland's room.
