G. Teaching and Learning Activities
1. First Meeting
a. Introduction (10 minutes)
1) Teachers prepare students psychologically and physically to participate in the
learning process.
2) Through questions and answers, the students were reminded again sense the
fraction.
3) Students observe the existing problems in the powerpoint(slide 2-3) about
fractions.
4) The teacher asked, "What is the value of a fraction of the show?".
5) Students are given problems related to daily life-related comparisons, such as
"Rani bought 6 orange and 2 strawberry" in powerpoint (slide 4-6).
6) How many comparisons purchased fruits Rani?.
7) Teacher confirmed the objectives to be learned today.
8) Teachers convey material coverage comparison.
b. Main Activities (60 minutes)
1) Observing
a) Learners observe existing image in powerpoint (slide 8-12)(Attachment6).
2) Inquire (Asking Question)
a) Learners formulate questions related to the comparison.
For example, "What information do you have from the picture?".
b) Students work in pairs to try to resolve the existing problems related
comparison on worksheet 1.
3) Trying or Collecting Data or Information
a) Learners examine pairwise comparisons of existing problem in activity 1
worksheet 1(Attachment 1).
b) Students work in pairs to try to resolve the existing problems related
comparison on worksheet 1.
4) Associating or Analyzing Data or Information
a) The students concluded that there is a comparison of the image in activity
1 worksheet 1 (Attachment 1).
b) Learners write answers on worksheet 1.
c) In order to know the understanding of the material being studied, students
continue working on exercises in activity 1 worksheet 1.

c. Closing (10 minutes)
1) The students together with teachers to make conclusions regarding the
comparison of two objects, the value of the unknown variable of a
comparison, ratio, and the difference of comparison and the ratio.
2) Each group was given the award relating to the acquisition of the group's
activities.
3) The teacher asks "What did you learn today?" Then asked "How did you get
an understanding of today's lesson?".
4) The teacher said that the next meeting will discuss the comparative worth and
value comparison turns.
