Bur!lary has been the most prominent crime over the last
& days with three of four Bur!laries all bein! committed
within three hours of each other$ Two of these were car
key Bur!laries where offenders stole two 'otor (ehicles
from tar!eted locations) the third address was also
possibly a tar!et to steal the car but the occupants
prevented this by takin! the car keys up to bed with them$
The takin! of the 'otor (ehicles also allowed the
offenders to transport other items of value away from the
offence locations with ease$ ,d-ice: When retirin! to bed
please remember to either place your vehicle keys in a
location where they cannot be easily found or take them to
bed with you$
There have been two thefts from 'otor (ehicles this week
and both times items of value were left within the vehicles
and on display makin! them a tar!et for offenders$ The
first item stolen was an expensive Samsun! mobile phone
and from the second vehicle the item stole was a Satellite
*avi!ation System$ Both items are bou!ht at an expense
and bein! left on display not only causes them to be an
easy tar!et) but offenders cause extra expense to the
victim by dama!in! the vehicle to !ain entry$
,d-ice: If you leave items of value on display within your
vehicle you are makin! it an easy tar!et for offenders$
+emember if you pay an excess fee on your insurance it
probably won,t be worth makin! a claim$ Any replacement
of items or dama!e will then come out of your own pockets
makin! it an expensive mistake$

The Street Watch Scheme which involves members of
the public patrollin! the Streets of Bordesley -reen and
Small .eath which is Co#ordinated by /C Sutheran has
recruited two new members this week) so a bi! thank
you !oes out to them for becomin! volunteers$ This
shows that the residence of the Bordesley -reen Ward
want to play apart in keepin! the streets safe and
prevent Antisocial Behaviour) there are two more
volunteers to be recruited this week makin! five Street
Watch members in total) with possibly more volunteers
in the future$ If you think you can play apart in
preventin! Crime and Antisocial Behaviour and would
like to know more about the scheme please contact /C

youn! persons are out Trick or Treatin!$ If possible
please make sure not pester the elderly residence of the
area and please be sure that any children are
supervised with a responsible adult$ /lease stay safe$
