CONTENT STANDARD:
2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding
of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a

information and enjoyment.

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
i. Read the story fluently with the correct intonation.
ii. Arrange sequence of the story correctly.
iii. Recognize the words based on their listening skill.

Pupils have been introduced to many English stories in their previous English lesson.

Activity: Get Me Right.
1) Pupils are divided into
groups of three or four.

in an envelope containing a
strip of the story.
3) Teacher asks each group
to complete the paragraphs
with the correct sentences
strips in 5 minutes.
4) The first group that
completes the task will be the
winner.
5) Teacher calls the winner
to read the completed
paragraph.
6) Answers are discussed.
