1. The third convocation of GITAM University will be held on September 15th, 2012 at 4pm to award degrees and diplomas to candidates who completed their programs of study in the 2011-2012 academic year. Degrees will also be awarded to PhD and MPhil candidates who qualified by September 3rd, 2012. 2. The THIRD Convocation of the GITAM University shall be held on Saturday, the
15
th
September 2012 at 4.00 pm. Candidates who have successfully completed
their Programs of study during the academic year 2011-12 are eligible to receive
the Degrees and Diplomas at the Convocation.
However, Degrees will be awarded to Ph.D. and [Link]., candidates who have
qualified themselves up to 03-09-2012.
1. Candidates who wish to receive their Degrees and Diplomas either In-Person or
In-Absentia should apply in the prescribed application form, enclosing a Demand
Draft for the amount specified below, drawn in favor of GITAM University,

Visakhapatnam from any Nationalized Bank or by Challan at the Union Bank of
India, GITAM University Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam. The application
form can be downloaded from GITAM University website ([Link]).

2. PRESCRIBED FEE: IN-PERSON - Rs.600/- ( six hundred only)
IN-ABSENTIA - Rs. 1000/- (one thousand only)
3. The filled-in application along with enclosures and the Challan/ Demand Draft
should be sent in an envelope to the Controller of Examinations, GITAM
University, Visakhapatnam- 530 045 on or before 5.00 PM on 03-09-2012.
Candidates have to write on the envelope APPLICATION FOR
CONVOCATION- 2012.

4. Late Applications will be received up to 10-9-2012 with a late fee of Rs.300/-, in
addition to the prescribed fee.

5. Applications which are incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected
without any intimation.
6. Candidates eligible for the award of Medals and Prizes at the Convocation will be
intimated individually.

7. Candidates who have already taken Degrees and Diplomas in-advance are not
eligible to apply.
