Business Internship is required of each raduatin student! "he required period of internship #i$$ be 6-8
#ee%s for BBIT-F11! Internship is an opportunity for the students to fami$iarize themse$ves #ith the
present day business environment and comprehend business routine and practices!
&ach internee is required to #or% at $east in one specific department 'e!! (a$es, )ar%etin, *inance,
Accounts, Administration, +uman ,esources- for a reater portion of the time durin the internship! "his
#i$$ ensure that the internee assimi$ates information and %no#$ede in a specific area of )anaement!
.urin the Internship, internees are e/pected to be serious, hard #or%in, and cooperative, demonstratin
a $earnin attitude! "hey shou$d never foret that they are in the oranization to $earn as much as possib$e
in a short period and operationa$ize their theoretica$ %no#$ede throuh practica$ #or%!
&ach internee #i$$ be eva$uated in a 0PA based hundred point sca$e as per IBI" mar%s ru$es and
reu$ations! &va$uation #i$$ norma$$y be on the basis of the fo$$o#in criteria1
2! An unannounced visit by one or t#o of the teacher's- of the Institute to the p$ace of internship
3! Written or verba re!ort of the supervisor of the internee
4! A Written Intern"#i! Re!ort presented by the internee as per suested format
5! A Fina Intervie$ % &iva of the internee by the Pane$ of the *acu$ty )ember's- of IBI"!
At the conc$usion of the internship, the students shou$d obtain an Intern"#i! 'o(!etion 'erti)i*ate
from the oranization concerned and provide to the record office of the institute for inc$usion in the
student academic record and inc$ude a copy of this certificate in the report to be presented by the student!
&ach individua$ student is required to #rite and submit '+- copies of internship report, even if more than
one student is doin internship in the same oranization! 6bvious$y even if t#o or more students are
doin the same tas%'s-, in the same section's-, at that same time, #hen they #rite the report, their version
#i$$ be and shou$d be different! &ach student is advised to %eep a diary in #hich dai$y account of
activities performed and thins $earned shou$d be noted do#n! "his #i$$ be very he$pfu$ in comp$etin
