Prewriting
1. Driving Question: What story does your constellation tell?
You will answer this question as you work through this sheet. ;-)

Directions:
Look at the information on the next page that you will want to know about
your constellation.
Read the story of your constellation and try to find the information you
need.
Do not write anything at this time. You may read the story several
times.
Then, close your internet and complete your notes on this Word document.

Do not reopen your internet.

brief description of each one? Dont worry about spelling.

Drafting Look over all you notes. In your own words, tell the story to yourself. Try to tell it
in at least 7 sentences. Do not use more than ten sentences. Remember this is a
summary. Copy those sentences down.

Revising

Now, work on making a sandwich good introduction and conclusion.


Add these sentences to your drafting sentences.
Be sure you have lots of specific detail in all your sentences. Add more if necessary.
Make your first word in each sentence red. Check to see that you use a variety of
sentence starters and transitions.)

Editing (Check the following after you have done it.)

Evaluating (Check the following after you have done it.)
_____Read aloud to a partner.

Publishing (Copy and paste all your revised sentences from drafting section into this
section. Then, put your sentences into a paragraph.)

Be sure to center and capitalize your title.
