remains paralyzed. CWP urges it to act now to stop the war!

ru&&es. Coaition o% Women %or Pea'e 'as %or a (igorous response o% the
internationa 'ommunit$ to stop the )sraei miitar$ operation in Gaza and put an end
to the (ioen'e.
In Tel !i! "#at. $%.&' a(out $))) people too* to the streets to protest the war on +aza. The
peaceful protesters were met with unprecedented !iolence and threats. #maller demonstrations
were held this wee* in ,aifa, -ufer -asem, Pardes ,ana, .od, /affa and other places. ll o!er the
world, people ta*e to the streets in large demonstrations to demand a halt to the !iolence.
Citizens o% the !ord are not sta$ing sient * are $ou, their go(ernments,
!iing to et this 'rimina !ar go on+ ,topping it is in $our po!er.
0any in Israel (elie!e that the ground in!asion is necessary to remo!e the threat of roc*ets. Israeli
citizens are misinformed (y (iased media and swayed (y increasingly !iolent militaristic
atmosphere.
We *now that this war, li*e pre!ious rounds of hostilities, will not (ring any decisi!e outcome. There
will (e no winners, only more and more ci!ilian deaths and destruction. The only way to stop the
daily threat of !iolence is to lift the siege on +aza and end the occupation. t the e1pense of
countless human li!es Israel refuses to accept reasona(le conditions for a ceasefire.

Israel to stop the military operation and accept conditions for a truce
