c. Brainstorming:
- The teachers and the students do brainstorming by asking and answering about
public places
Whilst-Activity
a. The students are asked to discuss the picture of public places from the LCD.
b. The students repeat the names of public places from the teacher.
c. The students are asked to mention the names of public places without guiding from
the teacher.
d. The students are explained about:
how to ask somebody about where to go (language feature) example: Where
are you going?
how to answer example: I am going to the zoo, etc.
e. The students learn how to ask and answer about it together.
f. The students listen to the song about public places, entitled Where are You Going?
g. The students sing the song together with body movement.
h. The students are playing board game about public places,
The students are divided into pairs.
The teacher gives direction how to play the board game.
The rule of the game is almost the same with playing snake and ladder. Then,
every stop, the students (in pairs) ask and answer about the picture (e.g. the first
student, Where are you going? the second student, I am going to the
hospital).
The teacher asks the students whether the pictures are clear or not.
The students play the game twice. (including the assessment)
Post-Activity
a. The students conclude what they have learnt.
b. The teachers ask the students if there is difficulty in the learning activity.
c. The teacher gives an opportunity to the students to do reflection in the form of
comments, and critics.
