Portfolios are used for a variety of reasons. A well-organized portfolio is an important resource in your teaching style; it shows what kind of teacher are you. A teaching portfolio is becoming the accepted form in which you are expected to demonstrate your commitment to learning and teaching, document your teaching responsibilities, practices and expertise, and provide evidence of your performance as a teacher, also If teaching is part of your future professional life. When you answer those components it says what kind of teacher are you. For that reason is important take your time answer it, and is necessary that you can make yourself a self- reflection into the next paper you will read an explanation about it.

A teaching portfolio is a collection of teacher documents, professional thoughts, goals, ideas and objectives that inform your teaching, the courses you teach, the methods you use, your effectiveness as a teacher, exams, and those materials represent your teaching style and your students' learning. Also, how you assess and improve your teaching and experiences that provides information about different aspects of a teacher`s work. It provides teachers reflection and review. In this case the portfolio is one of the most basics tools for each teacher, with the objective to get a better result day by day. Thus, teachers have the duty to be updated and revised their portfolio when it needs (this means updated it every year and with each course).

Make a self-reflection and self-evaluation will not only help you understand what you are trying to achieve as a teacher, it will also help you compile a better teaching portfolio. Teaching portfolio however can also providing us the opportunity to reflect on our own approaches as soon as possible. It helps me to know what kind of teacher I am. Nowadays each teacher is aware of he/she has the responsibility to be updates he/she portfolio, curriculum vitae, pedagogical approach, technological approach, creativity. When I am thinking to make me a self-evaluation, I have to be honest with myself, to know in which areas i have a weakness, to know if my methodology is the correct or have to change because i cannot use all the time the same methodology, activities, evaluations, techniques, strategies that I going to develop with my students, if my goals were achieved in a satisfactory way; and, if with my evaluations my students developed their skills (listen, speak, read and write) that is my objective. I as professional teacher have to change my portfolio each year, and with each group, because each group is different even students are different between them. And how I am going to know if my teaching style are helping to obtain a good student`s motivations, student`s grades, student`s behavior, student`s skill, so it mean, that my students have to give me the answers that need to know if I am doing my best effort developing my classes in a different ways to give my students a good education. Good teachers all the time make a self- reflection about his/her works. I as teacher, going to make it, answer myself some questions, about my teaching work with my students, with the objective to know more about me and, in which areas I have weakness, to try to make my best effort to change it. Because is important to know if I was capable to transmit a good learned from the course, as responsible teacher have to be clear about my

goals, evaluations, activities and if I traded to did everything that I can do to obtain it. Analyze if the way that I used to transmit my knowledge to my students were the most appropriated to obtain a significant knowledge from them. If those activities were good or bad designed, with the objective to know students develop skill. If I as updated teacher did used of the technology from my teaching, I have to make a deep self- reflection, and trade to remember if the technological activities that I had develop could help my student to get a better knowledge, more vocabulary, a better pronunciation, so teacher has to be more updated. Furthermore is important for me to know, if I as a teacher, I had transmit motivation to my students I most ask myself if I into and out the class I could transmit motivation to my student, in this case I am the responsible to show them how much important are they for me. As a responsible teacher I have ask myself if I traded to did dynamics class, if I used a motivational activities with the objective to transmit motivation to student, if I trade to make an interactive classes maybe student going to develop their skill. We already know how much important is the motivation into the process, thus teachers, have to make constantly a self- reflection trading to offer students a better education.

A teaching portfolio is essentially a reflective activity, you are aware of your teacher work, with the purpose to make a self- reflection to know your weakness, and to know about what kind of teacher are you. Why do I need a teaching portfolio? Because I cannot be teacher without it, and another hand, it support my own knowledge, personality, knowledge, gold, clarify, and reflect on my teaching philosophy, methods, strategies, academic position and approaches skill, at the same time it illustrate a list documents, that show my best work as an educator, It shows that I am organized enough to compile evidence of my teaching experiences. But not only I have to convey myself also I have to convey another people, in this case when another teacher asks me how I would do something, in an easy way I can open my portfolio, and show him/her my answer to the questions . In other hand it is evidence and my quality teacher work.

Think about what I want into my portfolio that show about I as teacher, and as a learner and how this can best be demonstrated. Creating a teaching portfolio will demonstrate your skills and abilities as a professional.

Your teaching portfolio should emphasize in your own particular philosophy and practice teaching, as well as demonstrate that you are aware of the institutions goals and objectives in relation to teaching and learning. The structure of your teaching portfolio might differ significantly it going to deepen the purpose for which you intend to use it. Official documents Official documents: it show my copies from my qualifications, and certification from some courses that I had taken Statement of Teaching Philosophy: The philosophy will describe your objectives as a professional teacher, I can describe what and how my students are capable of learning with the objective to develop students skill. Self- reflection and self-evaluation: Is means, that I have make a self-reflection about my teaching style, if I doing my best job as a teacher. Teaching Methodology, Strategies: It describes your teaching style, and it shows you as a professional, using the correct methodology and strategies to get a better result. . Lesson plans: It shows my creativity how I going to design and develop my classes the evaluations that I going to do; and, how I am going to use the technology into the classroom to get a better learn. Students evaluations: It shows all the activities of my students have to develop into the English class. Teaching materials: If I going to present a video, photographs, and all the didactics materials that I going to use.

Each teacher has to know that teach is a responsibility, because you are teach to students, so you has to try to be your best job. As a responsible teacher I always go to make and use a lesson plans, where is stipulated all the activities, evaluations that I going to develop, the greeting, topic name, some activities for student, the time that they can use to develop those activities, the time to answer`s students etc. With this action student will have a better learning and of course they will realize that their teacher always prepare the classes and I will not improvise into the classroom, thus teacher show them that

he/she always has time for his/ her students because is a professional, I have the responsibility to give my class using different method, techniques, strategies and some games. So i need to be organizing to get a better result in my Teaching Practice.

Why do you teach? Is a question that all teachers have to ask themselves, to know why there are into the classroom with proximally 34 students, teachers not only have to do for money, because is a vocation that not all the teachers have. In my case I like to teach because its a passion, I like do that, I like school environment, the interaction that I as a teacher have with my students, I like transmit knowledge playing, making some techniques for give them a new way to learn English not as a subject in this case a idiom. What do you teach? I have my specific subject whit my specific objectives for the course, and a have the English syllabus the only that I have to do is select the best topics that I sure that it going to help my students to develop their skill. If I am working with book I have try to apply the syllabus into the book topic`s with some of the syllabus`s objectives, and I like to teach an interesting topics to get a significant knowledge, give my student active vocabulary, thus I am sure that my student can apply this vocabulary in their life in their own environment. How do you teach? Each teacher has his/her style, It i about the teaching methods for example TPR and strategies like horseshoes that I am using with the purpose to meet my objectives and the communicative approach. Is important know if the techniques that I am using into the class are helping my students to develop their skill. I like to use, a reading discussion, working in groups or work individual, because I like the interaction between them. And some time I use the combination from some methods that help me to develop of the class. The use of all of that is influenced by the aptitude and enthusiasm of the students How do you measure your effectiveness? It tell me How do you know whether you are meeting your objectives, it tell if your students are learning how by the result that you have from them, by their attitudes that they show, by the motivation that they show us If so, and you have to use the feedback provided to improve your teaching skills. As a future educator, it is critical to remember to enjoy students and everything they have to offer.

In my case I going to be a combination between each method, but some of them I going to use more than other for example I will use the English as EFL, I am going to use a communicative approach, with it will develop in my student communicative competences, with this approach students are capable to develop their skill (listen, speak, read and write). Now that I have the approach a need to select the best method (all method has the objective to help students learning). If I give my students a paragraph about Biographies of Salvadoran Personalities i going to use the Grammar translation Method, because they have to translate the target language into their native language, in this case students can know about grammar structure, the technique that I will use is reading and comprehension questions with it students talk about someones life use a new vocabulary and they know about grammar rules, and they can improve their reading also Fill-in-the blanks. And the strategic will be a horseshoes it makes feel less shy my students or roundtable, use some dialogues, conversations, and answering question. The things are trying that my students can feel self-confidents with themselves; in this case they try giving their opinion about specific topic, I as teacher concern help students get through rough times and keep on working. In this case the objective is, encourage interaction between both and produce spoken and written English. An interesting method that I going to us is The Direct Method, hire the teacher use always the target language and student too, teacher can use the Rialia, I can use different kind of tool that help me to develop the class and for better understanding of students, if student has a question teacher can answer using pictures, objects, paper, blackboard, drawing, etc. . Some techniques that I will use are: conversations practice, dictation, questions and answer exercise, with the use of the technology I can show them some pictures describing the adjectives, at the presentation I am going to ask them that each students describe to another student using the adjectives, or show them a video about the topic and them ask to everybody some question about it, because I have to encourages interaction between students and faculty. All those tools help to student and teacher to have a better learning and at the same time it method helps to develop students reading, listen skill and teacher can corrects a grammar mistake. Another method to use is total physical response When I am teaching a second language I have to use this method to make the students learning process turns easier, especially those students who do not have a pre-knowledge about a certain topic, this method makes them to comprehend in a better way the language about any topic. They are following some commands or instructions that teachers give to them and they are learning some words by performing the action. This really interesting and funny at the same time, when teachers apply this method, students learn in an entertaining way through repeating some actions and movements after the teacher does and also it helps to memorize easily many words and you can encourage with his/her students. An interesting thing is that

students can learn through observing actions. Some techniques that teacher can implement are use commands use of Total Physical Response method in the classroom is pretty important because it facilitates the learning process, and the teacher uses a series of activities in which the students play different roles, following intrusions that help to their comprehension part.. Also you can use all the method that exists. The audio-lingual method is also oral- based approach, students get knowledge by actions and listening, by dialogues by pictures, by videos, teacher can make dialogues memorization, use of animal pairs, questions and answer drill, complete the dialogue, grammar games, students, get the language with practices. Teacher can use a strategy presentations using power point, or using a web site, or ask students that they have to present a video, asking about a specific topic, One of the principle objectives is to facilitate student his/her learning English, encourage studentfaculty contact to get a better understanding, to be a updated teacher, providing a well-maintained physical environment for teaching and learning, and, to be flexible so as to be able to respond as and when is necessary. For each class I would like to know something new, and I would like learn new things from my students, also a would like be a different teacher that can us e a different techniques to be more easily student`s learn.
