Reboiler Design Calculation Guide

This document provides guidelines for calculating vessel sizing, pressure drops, line sizes, and driving head for reboiler circuits. It covers calculations for horizontal thermosyphon reboilers, kettle reboilers in both pressurized and gravity flow configurations, and vertical thermosyphon reboilers. Design criteria are established for cold and hot side components. Calculation methods are presented for determining minimum downcomer nozzle elevations, available driving forces, and pressure drops through different reboiler arrangements.
