VA OSEHRA Open Source Scheduling Solution

This document introduces the VA OSEHRA Scheduling (VOS) solution, an open source medical scheduling application developed as part of the 2013 America Competes Act "VA Scheduling Challenge". The prototype focused on developing an architectural proof-of-concept, illustrating key design components like using agile development processes, a service-oriented architecture, and open standards. The implementation is intended as a proof-of-concept and not for direct use in patient care.
