Travel (verb or noun): is the general term to describe travelling.

Journey (noun): is when you travel from one place to another especially in a vehicle. Trip (noun): usually involves more than one single journey. Expedition (noun): an organi ed journey for a particular purpose. !afari (noun): an organi ed journey to loo" at or sometimes hunt wild animals# especially in $frica: %ruise (noun or verb): a journey on a large ship for pleasure# during which you visit several places. &oyage (noun): a long journey# especially by ship or boat.
